Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable adult paraprofessional to join our team. In this role, you will assist individuals in achieving their goals, support daily activities, and help create a safe and positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals in daily living skills, social interactions, and community involvement.
- Assist with educational, recreational, and personal development activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the team.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive environment.
Qualifications
- Must pass drug test.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
- Must pass background checks and any required trainings.
Training Pay: $11/hour, up to $13/hour after the first 30 days
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a.m.-3 p.m.
